We are the only retail establishment in the busy Ojai shopping district exclusively dedicated to Ojai artists and artisans. Made in Ojai Artisans and Mercantile is a hybrid of Ojai Artisans – an independent collective of local artists and craftspeople; and Ojai Mercantile – a specialty gift shop offering the best selection of locally produced goods.

Made In Ojai Artisans and Mercantile supports and promotes the local creative community and economy, as well as providing a much-needed central location for residents and visitors alike to shop for beautiful and high-quality products made in the Ojai Valley. Conveniently located across the street from Ojai’s famous Sunday Farmer’s Market, and with plenty of free parking, Made in Ojai offers a wide array of gift and art items, at a variety of price points, making local art, crafts, and edibles available to the many people who love to shop in Ojai. These items include fine art, sculpture, and jewelry, as well as handicrafts, including, but not limited to, pottery, musical instruments, baskets, hand made baby gifts and one of a kind clothing items.

We also carry local packaged food items and gift products such as olive oil, chocolates, honey, teas, soaps, candles, as well as books and music created by Ojai’s internationally famous creative community. Shop for individual items, or allow us to create a customized gift basket, showcasing the variety and quality of Ojai’s bounty. In addition,the artist-members of Ojai Artisans often teach classes or host special events on either our front or back patios. Be sure to check our schedule of events!
